Indian Idol's song chosen for 'Narnia 3'

The winner of Indian Idol 5, Sreeram Chandra, will reportedly have a song featured in the latest Chronicles of Narnia film.

'Rehunama' will be played during the end credits of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios India, said: "There was a particular reason why we made this choice - Sreeram’s fresh, youthful voice is a perfect match to the thrilling Narnia experience."

Chandra, who won the competition in August of this year, added: "Indian Idol was a dream come true and now this song in Narnia 3 seems to be an even more fantastic dream. It’s just like magic unfolding right in front of my eyes."

The 24-year-old singer will join American Idol 4 winner Carrie Underwood on the soundtrack for the film, which is due for release on December 9.
