Walsh has been prompted to consider her plans by sister Sally, who recently became pregnant - leading the Girls Aloud star to become "seriously broody" in her own situation.
A friend told Heat: "Kimberly and Justin are following every step of Sally's pregnancy and are absolutely loving stocking up on little outfits for when he or she arrives."
With Girls Aloud on an indefinite hiatus, the friend told the magazine that now would be "the perfect time" for the singer to have children.
On Walsh's existing life plans, her pal said: "She turns 30 next year and she always planned on being married and having kids by then."
