Singer-actress Demi Lovato has returned to her home in Los Angeles after three months of treatment at a rehab.
"Lovato has completed her prescribed treatment and is in an outpatient programme near the treatment facility," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.
"For now, she is getting back to her regular routine and spending time with her family and close friends."
The 18-year-old was pulled out of the Jonas Brothers' world tour last year and checked into a medical facility to address emotional and physical issues.
It subsequently emerged that one of her dancers, Alex Welch, had accused the star of lashing out at her in an altercation on a plane.
A legal dispute with Welch was settled last year.

A porn company reportedly wants to buy a rumoured Demi Lovato sex tape and destroy it.
According to TMZ, Vivid Entertainment head Steve Hirsch has said that he wants to purchase the tape if it exists. However, Hirsch said that he has no plans to release the rumoured tape.
"After everything that Demi Lovato has been through, we would never consider distributing a sex tape with her.
In fact, we would purchase it and either give it back to her or destroy it," Hirsch said.
Lovato's rep recently claimed that the tape does not exist.
"Perpetrating these completely unfounded rumours from supposed sources while Demi is in treatment dealing with serious physical and emotional issues is disgusting," the rep said previously.

Actress and singer Demi Lovato had attacked Alex Welch, a female backup dancer, on a private jet in October, while they were touring for the Jonas Brothers.
TMZ now, claims to have obtained a picture of Alex Welch, which shows the bruises that she received on the left side of her face.
According to reports, Welch was doing her own thing on that private jet which took off from Bogota, Colombia and was taken aback when Demi, all of a sudden just walked up to her and punched her in the face. Welch was knocked out of her seat and received immediate medical assistance.
Lovato was immediately removed from the plane and later she went home. Lovato then checked herself into an Illinois treatment center shortly after this incident happened to sort out several personal issues.
Sources say that Lovato was angered because she thought Alex had ratted about her and her companions for partying t the previous night.
Alex Welch is a member of Beat Freaks, which won the runner-up title in the 3rd season of America's Best Dance Crew. She is now considering legal action against Lovato and has been consulting Donald Karpel, a Beverly Hills attorney.

It seems like the marriage between Ashton Kutcher and Demi keeps taking hit, after hit, after hit. The latest comes from an alleged mistress of Ashton’s, Brittney Jones. She claims that the two (Ashton and the mistress) had a pretty hot affair.
According to Jones, her and Demi are actually friends and the marriage between Demi and Ashton is completely fake, a “sham” as she puts it.
Jones claims that her and Ashton would arrange their “meetings” via text message and then get together when Demi wasn’t around. Supposedly, Ashton and Demi are really upset about the rumors.
However, so far, neither are talking, not even to those people closest to them. Rumor has it, that they have enacted a bit of a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy similar to the United States government.
Whether or not the marriage is a scam or not, I don’t know. If it is, that’s too bad and frankly a bit sad. If the marriage is true and Demi and Ashton are simply hitting a rough patch, I wish them luck, though the age difference is bound to make things more difficult then they already would be.

Demi Lovato has reportedly decided that she is taking a break from Twitter.
The Camp Rock star - who is currently touring with the Jonas Brothers - posted on her account that she wanted a break from the social networking site.
"About to say goodbye to twitter... I love my fans so much but the access that the other people have is uncomfortable to me, (sic)" she wrote.
"Twitterbreak. Peace."
However, before posting her final message, the 18-year-old took time to voice her disappointment at not being able to greet fans at a recent event in Florida, which was called off because heavy rain flooded the venue.
"I didn't cancel my meet and greet," she wrote. "I was so disappointed when I wasn't able to sing to and meet my fans tonight... For safety reasons we couldn't follow through."

Camp Rock 2 star Demi Lovato has celebrated her 18th birthday.
The actress - who plays Mitchie in the Disney Channel Original Movie - marked the milestone birthday with a party at Buddakan in New York last night, reports Just Jared.
Lovato - who officially turned 18 today - shared her excitement with followers on Twitter, writing: "It's my party!!!!!!!!!! :D yayyyyy!!!!! Wish you all could be here!!!!!! (sic)"
She later added: "Officially 18. Weird."
Lovato was asked about her birthday plans during a recent interview with MTV News, saying: "I would love to just have fun with my friends. I don't get to see my friends a lot, so a lot of my friends are coming out. My family flew out. I'm just having a good time with them."
She added: "I have everything I could possibly want... I'm just thankful."
Camp Rock 2 premieres September 3 on Disney Channel in the US and September 17 on Disney Channel in the UK.

Flashing that gorgeous smile, the Disney darling took several shots in cute floral dresses for the up-to-date tween and teen girls’ magazine.
In other news, Ms Lovato has teamed up with Clean & Clear Skincare and DoSomething.org for their “Join the Surge” program.
Of the opportunity, Demi said, “Like most teens, I am always looking for ways to get involved in causes that are important to me and I know that this program will have a huge impact in helping others get the support they need to get started.”

Out for promotional obligations, Demi Lovato was spotted in midtown New York City on Wednesday (May 19).
Dressed in a sexy/rocker-esque outfit, the beautiful brunette was protected by her meaty bodyguard as she walked to the press event with a Red Bull in one hand and her phone in the other.
Last night, Ms Lovato attended a performance of “In the Heights” and was spotted mingling with Corbin Bleu, Olga Merediz, and the rest of the cast at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.
The day before, Demi was spotted making her rounds in New York City to promote “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.”

It's nice to hear about a true friendship in a place that is known for back stabbers. Since the demise of Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton's friendship, we haven't really seen any celebrity best friends for a while.
Until now that is, as Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and Camp Rock star, Demi Lovato have declared that they are indeed BFFL (Best Friends For Life)
Talking to Girl's Life magazine, Demi described Miley as “the sweetest thing in the world.”
“Miley has been in the spotlight longer than I have, so I go to her...I can text her that I'm crying and stressed out, and she'll reply back, 'All right, here's what you do'.”

Demi Lovato has revealed that she had a car accident on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old Disney Channel star, whose boyfriend is singer Joe Jonas, said that she crashed because she was feeling "sleepy".
Lovato wrote on her Twitter page: "Today hasn't started off so great. I was so sleepy this morning I got in my first little accident in my car. "
She later wrote: "To everyone who asked, yes - I'm totally fine! Thank you! Haha just was a huge bummer."

Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers are teaming up for a Camp Rock themed summer tour.
The tour is scheduled to begin July 27 with a concert in Dallas, TX, the same day the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam soundtrack will be released, according to Live Nation.
The US leg of the tour will end on October 17 in Raleigh, NC. International dates are expected, but have yet to be announced.
The sequel to the hit TV movie Camp Rock will premiere September 3 on the Disney Channel.
